Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has announced plan to introduce an HND to Bachelor’s Degree conversion program in affiliation with the University of Ilorin, commencing in the next academic session.
The announcement was made by the Rector, Alhaji Kehinde Adeyemi Alabi, during a visit to the institution by Professor Yahya Oyewole Imam, Director of the Centre for Affiliated Institutions at the University of Ilorin.
According to report, this development follows the university’s earlier approval and ongoing running of full-time degree programmes at the polytechnic’s campus, including courses such as Mathematics, Microbiology, Mass Communication, Computer Science, Food Technology, and Computer Engineering, which began admissions in the 2024/2025 session.
The new conversion program aims to provide a pathway for Higher National Diploma holders to upgrade to a university bachelor’s degree.
