A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Ejigbo, Hon. Moye Alade, has called on residents of Osun State to take advantage of the commencement of the physical registration of the Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) which begins today, Monday, at INEC offices across all local government areas in the state.
This was contained in a statement he personally signed on Monday and made available to newsmen.
He noted that the exercise is an important opportunity for eligible voters who have not registered before to do so, while also urging those who have completed the online registration to visit INEC offices to finalize the process.
Alade stressed that the PVC remains the only valid means through which citizens can exercise their voting rights, adding that ensuring one’s vote counts starts with getting registered.
He encouraged youths, first-time voters, and those who have changed their residence to use this chance to register or transfer their voting details to their current local government areas.
According to him, active participation in the registration process will strengthen democracy and allow the people to decide the future of Osun through the ballot box.
Alade reaffirmed his commitment to mobilizing citizens for the 2026 Osun Governorship Election, noting that responsible civic engagement is the foundation of good governance.
